What a lesson is
Rates are per lesson, whoever is on the court with you. A second or third player adds court time, not a second lesson — so the price moves by the minute, not by the head.

Private & Small Group
One coach, your court time, your days. One to three players — four or more is a class, so book the class.
- The fastest way to fix one specific thing: a serve, a backhand, a pattern that keeps costing you matches.
- Arranged around your week rather than around a timetable.
- Lessons with a child happen in open view, and a parent is welcome to stay every time.
By December: The thing you came to fix, fixed — without waiting for it to come round in a group.
What happens after you press Register
You enroll and pay for our group programs through the City of Laguna Beach, not here. About five minutes, and you do it once.
You will make a City account
Rec1 is the City of Laguna Beach's registration system, not ours. On your first visit it asks you to create a sign-on — a name, an email, a password. A couple of minutes, once, and it covers every City program from then on.
Payment is due when you register
Find Laguna Beach Tennis Academy in the catalog, choose your class and how many days a week, and check out. The City takes the money, not LBTA — there is no invoice afterwards and no deposit option.
The City tells us the moment you are in. We confirm your days, your court and your coach before the first session.
Registration is first come, first served through the City.
