Adult Intermediate
You can already hold a rally. This is where you learn what to do with it.
- Technique first — grip, swing path, and the split step most players skip.
- Then the patterns those strokes are for: where the ball goes, and why.
- Live points at the end, so what you drilled gets used the same session.
By December: A cleaner ball and a clearer plan. You win more of the points you are already in, because you stop playing the shot that loses them.
If you are not rallying consistently yet, Adult Beginner covers the same ground at a pace that will suit you better. See that class
What happens after you press Register
You enroll and pay for our group programs through the City of Laguna Beach, not here. About five minutes, and you do it once.
You will make a City account
Rec1 is the City of Laguna Beach's registration system, not ours. On your first visit it asks you to create a sign-on — a name, an email, a password. A couple of minutes, once, and it covers every City program from then on.
Payment is due when you register
Find Laguna Beach Tennis Academy in the catalog, choose your class and how many days a week, and check out. The City takes the money, not LBTA — there is no invoice afterwards and no deposit option.
The City tells us the moment you are in. We confirm your days, your court and your coach before the first session.
Registration is first come, first served through the City.
